PARTY SYSTEM CRITICISED
AUCKLAND BUSINESS MEN’S VIEWS By Telegraph,—Press Association. Auckland, July 31. Party government was strong criticised at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce council to-day. It was resolved: “That the continuation of the party system is inimical to the beet interests of the Dominion, and the Reform and United Parties should coalesce and collaborate in view of the present economic situation.” One prominent member declared that the amalgamation of. ths parties at this stage would be easy. Too much time was spent in mere vote-catching.
