COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Karepo, with 700 tons of Stockton coal for New Plymouth, is due from Westport this morning and later proceeds to Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.) The Opihi loads at Dunedin to-day for New Plymouth, where she is due on Tuesday, via usual ports. (U.S.S. Co.)

The Hauturu arrived with 140 tons at New Plymouth from Onehunga yesterday and returned to the northern port in the afternoon. (Northern Co.) The John leaves Lyttelton to-morrow for New Plymouth, where she is due on Tuesday, via Wellington. Later she proceeds to Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.)

The Progress loads at Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth, where she is due on August 11, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. (Hooker Bros.) The Totara left Lyttelton on Wednesday for New Plymouth via Wellington. She is due at New Plymouth to-morrow and proceeds to Wellington for survey. (U.S.S. Co.) The Kanna loads 360 tons at Greymouth to-day for New Plymouth. Later she sails for Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.) The Kaikorai loaded 500 tons of coal at Westport yesterday. She proceeds to Wellington and Lyttelton. NAVIGATION WARNING. The Marine Department has received advice from the master of the Nelson ferry steamer Matangi, Captain Hay, that when four miles-.W.S.W. of Sinclair Head on Tuesday a heavy sea carried away portion of the ship’s railing. Eleven drums of oil were washed overboard, and are likely to be a danger to navigation. REMUERA ARRIVES. The liner Remuera, from Southampton and London, via Suva, berthed at Wellington at 10 o’clock on Wednesday morning. The Remuera’s cargo will be unloaded at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and New Plymouth, where she is due on August 11. The vessel was delayed for nearly 48 hours by heavy southerly gales.

PORT FREMANTLE COMPLETING.

The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Fremantle arrived at Auckland from Gisborne on Wednesday afternoon to continue loading New Zealand produce for England. The vessel is to sail for Gisborne at mid-day today to complete her cargo. She w.Il be dispatched from Gisborne about Sunday morning for London, via Panama. The vessel carries meat and dairy produce loaded at New Plymouth recently. ARGYLLSHIRE’S MOVEMENTS. The Federal steamer Argyllshire was able to work Wanganui on Wednesday, and was expected to leave there last night for Timaru to continue loading.
