In a seven-a-sido tournament arranged to be played in two divisions—north of Opunako and south of Opunake—-Pungarehu emerged the winner of the northern division and now has to play the winner of the southern division. Tho team has defeated Warea twice and Opunako twice and has once been defeated by Opunake. Tho competitions do much to rouso interest in foot-ball in country districts and it is to be hoped they will be continued in future years. /
