SECOND RACE OF SERIES. The Waitara Cycle and Athletic Club held its second cycle road race yestetday, this being the second of a series of four. Owing to indisposition among some (f the junto” rideru cnly three start.-] in tho junior race, five Starting in the senior race. The results are:— Junior race (to Waipapa factory and back, a distance of 5% miles). —G. Tuffery, lOsec (time I3min 38 4-ssec), 1; G. Topless, scr. (time 13inin 39-sec), 2; Bob Anderson, scr. (time 13min 43secj, 3. Seniors (to Bell Block factory and back, a distance of about 10 miles).— E. Oliver, 30sec (time 31min), 1; W. Hicks, 30scc (time 31min 0 2-ssec), 2j L. Claffey, scr. (time 31min Isec), 3; J. Cooney Imin 25sec (time Simin 1 8-ssec), 4. D. Tuffery also started.
