BRITAIN'TO' EXPEDITE BELL. British Wireless, • Rugby, July 22. Consent to the ratification of the London Naval Treaty was ■ given by .the United States Senate yesterday by 58 votes' to four,., arid . the Prime Minister, in the House of Commons, stated to-' day that in view of this and other circumstances it was advisable to.: proceed at once with the second reading of the Bill to give effect to the treaty in Britain, rather than allow it to remain over until the autumn. ■ The present session of Parliament, is due to close at. the end of the month, but the Primo Minister, anticipates that the. consideration o.f the Bill,on.the second reading will be brief, PRESIDENT HOOVER’S VIEWS,.
