Wellington, Last Night. There will be some scattered showers in the far north and south and along the east coast but otherwise the weather will be mainly fair with cold temperatures. The northern disturbance has passed away eastwards and an anti-cyclone. is approaching from the west. Winds will be moderate to strong but decreasing, southerly north of New Plymouth and Napier and elsewhere moderate westerly to southerly. Seas will be rough north of Cape Egmont and'Castle Point, but moderate elsewhere.
