Angelesco, Minister of the Interior, was reading a petition from four students, one of them, Beza, drew a revolver and fired four bullets into the Minister’s face, chest, shoulder and arm. M. Angelesco, despite bis loss of blood, grappled with the assailant and prevented further shots. The students were arrested. The victim is expected to recover. The students are Dobrudjaitcs, who resent a new law dealing with small holdings, for which M. Angelesco is held to be responsible.
