The weather was duff and the wicket was soft when West of Scotland’s match against the Australians was resumed to-day, West of Scotland declared with the score at 140 for six wickets, At the luncheon adjournment Bradman had more than doubled Woodfull’s total. Hie batting delighted the 5000 spectators. The bowling was sadly deficient in length, and the pair added 198 for the second wicket, giving the fieldsmen a lively time. Jackson and a’Beckett added 67 for the sixth wicket, but otherwise the batsmen shaped badly. As the match was limited to two days it ended in a draw. The scores are: — WEST OF SCOTLAND.
