UNEMPLOYMENT PROPOSALS
INDUSTRIAL UNIONS TO CONFER. ii ■ By Telegraph.—Press Association. 1 Wellington, Last Night. Delegates from all industrial unions in New Zealand are being invited to meet in a conference at Wellington on July 30 to discuss the Government’s unemployment relief proposals at present before tho House of Representatives and to consider the recommendations of the commission which recently held an inquiry into the Workers’ Compensation Act. The conference is being convened by the New- Zealand Alliance of Labour and js- expected to bo attended by about 100 delegates.
