Cook, has announced that in order to avert n crisis and keep the Coal Bill alive the Miners’ Federation has accepted the Government proposal that no spreadover scheme embodied in tho House of Lords amendment should become operative in any district without the decision by the Mining Association and Miners’ Federation on a national basis.
