ATTITUDE OF FEDERATION
ACCEPTS GOVERNMENT PLAN EFFORTS TO AVERT CRISIS By Telegraph Press Assn.- Copyright. Rec. 8.10 p.m. London, July 16. After conferring with the President of the Board of Trade, Mr. W. Graham, Gm miners’ secretary, Mr. A. J. Cook, has announced that in order to avert n crisis and keep the Coal Bill alive the Miners’ Federation has accepted the Government proposal that no spreadover scheme embodied in tho House of Lords amendment should become operative in any district without the decision by the Mining Association and Miners’ Federation on a national basis.
