JUDGMENTS FOR DEBT
0 CLAIMS MADE IN NEW PLYMOUTH
Judgment by default was given by Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., in the following undefended debt claims in New Plymouth yesterday-.—W. T. Hookham v. R. G. Brabyn, £5 IDs (costs £1 10a Cd); S. R. Johnson v. Jack Okeroa, £2 10s (£1 8s Cd); R. A. Bent v. J. Boulton, £1 148 9d (8s); Pataka Rua v. H. T. Ashford, £5B 5s (£5 12s Cd). Under a judgment summons A. Anderson was ordered to pay Criterion Motors, Ltd., £8 9s at the rate of £1 a month.
George Clout was ordered to pay Young and Collins £6 12s and 15s Cd. costs’forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment. In the case of W. F. Way v. Arnold George and W. A. Graham, an order was made that the plaintiff was entitled to a charge for £4O and costs £4 9s Cd, to be paid out of‘ the balance of contract moneys in the hands of Arnold George, with leave reserved to either party to make further application to. the court if necessary. A similar order was made against the same defendants in favour of W. A. Morris in respect to a claim for £lB 3s Id and costs £2 2s.
