BANDMASTER ENTERTAINED
NEW PLYMOUTH PRESENTATION. Members of the Taranaki Regimental Band, New Plymouth, entertained the conductor of the band, Mr. F. W. G. McLeod, and Mrs. McLeod, on Wednesday evening. The evening was spent in games, stories and dancing, music beiu? supplied by Martin’s orchestra. During the evening the chairman of the band, Mr. Bert Sturm, tendered a welcome to "Mrs. McLeod on behalf of band members. He presented Mr. and Mrs. McLeod. with a crystal euchre table lamp to mark the occasion of their recent marriage. Mr. Hooker, a past chairman of the band, endorsed Mr. Sturm’s remarks.
