In founding this high grade herd Mr/ Marsh made selections from such wellknown dairies as Mr. Grant’s Puniho, Mr. H.'Shaw, Okato, and Mr. J. Poletti, Bell Block. With the exception of three the cows are all either fawns, or dark Jersey's, and having been, well cared for are iii splendid condition. The factory returns fbit the past season show an average production of 2971b5. fat per cow, these figures including 10 heifers, and farmers in search ot good quality cows can attend this fixture for their requirements with confidence. The majority of the cows are young and therefore coming to their best years, all in good condition, and due to Pedigree Jersey Bulls In August and September. They are all Jersey and Jersey Cross, save four or five which are Friesians. We can confidently recommend buyers to attend this unreserved sale, knowing full well that the quanity of the stock will please. Cars will leave from our Stratford brand at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 9tli instant and buyers are asked to book seats not later than 5 p.m. on Monday next.
