RECENT TREND OF INDUSTRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 16, After attending the international film convention in New York Mr. C. Mclntyre, Sydney, says that there is' a definite trend, toward more elaborate films, costing £100,006 to £300,000 each. There is also a growing demand for colour photography. The now screen invention known as the wide film will not be introduced for at least a year. It would enable the screening of pictures filling a screen.of tho width of the fuH proscenium arch. :
