HIKUTAIA SCHOOL BURNED
SECOND BLAZE DURING WEEK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 12. Fire at five o’clock thia morning completely destroyed the Hikutaia school. This is the second' fire at the township this week, as a house and grocery was burned on Tuesday night. A railway porter saw a reflection, but thought it was rubbish burning. Later, seeing it was the school, he gave the alarm, arousing the schoolmaster, E. Turner, who lived next door, There was no water supply and the school was completely destroyed. A car parked alongside the school was also destroyed. It was insured for £250, but the school was uninsured;
