Messages from Bucharest suggest that Queen Marie, cognisant of Prince Carol’s coup throughout, is now anxious to effect a reconciliation between Carol and Princess Helene. 4 - She passed through Vienna to-day, going to Bucharest. Though she declined to be interviewed she issued a statement that the entire family stands together with Card. “I hope to see Princess Helene proclaimed Queen,” she said. “I am returning home in order to be useful to my eon because I know he Fas a great mission.” A member of Queen Marie’s entourage added that all hoped that neither Madame Lambrino nor Madame Dupescu would come ae ghosts of the poet to trouble the King and the country. Carol has invited M. Maniu to form a Government.
