Dr. E. B. Gunson, been elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, states a London cable. Mr. S. F Burgess, who has been on a trip to the Pacific islands, returned to New Plymouth yesterday. Mr. F. W. Frkert, Engineer-in-Chief to the Public Works Department, passed through New Plymouth yesterday. Mr. D. D. Wilson, a member of th© Hamilton Borough Council, is at present on a visit to New Plymouth. Mr. Wil* son, who is keenly interested in dogs, is acting as judge of the kennel club’s show at the winter show. Mr. J. Stacker, Birmingham, Mr. W. A. Fraser, Wellington, Mr. D. Amony, Auckland, and Mr. Oswald Smith, Dune* din, are staying at the Criterion, New Plymouth.
