NEW PLYMOUTH COMMITTEE. The monthly committee meeting of the New Plymouth branch of the Plunket Society w'as held bn Monday afternoon. There were present Mesdamea I. M. Kidd (president), R. E. Fairfax Cholmcley, R. ■B. Halliwell, W. B. Husking, A. F. Sandford, F. H. Masters, J. L. Mander, A. J. Tunbridge, D. LeC. Morgan, W. Clarke, A. H. Featherstone, C. E. Roebuck, H. P. Gray, W. R. Wade, W. 0. Weston and the secretary and treasurer (Mrs. C. 8. Mayer). The president extended a welcome to Mrs. A, F. Sandford, a new member. The nurses’ report for the month of May was:—Number of babies on th© books, old 435, new 19; visits to homes, 375; visits to rooms, adults 486, babies 328, older children 107; advice on domestic hygiene, 84; advice to expectant mothers, 3; expectant mothers still under supervision, 39; older children still under supervision, 359; emulsion used, 691 b; visits paid to nursing homes, 4, Waitara: Five visits, 67 old babies, 3 new.
