Hempton, president of the Women’s Auxiliary, a New Zealand association, presented Miss Amy Johnson with a Maori doll which was dressed to represent Maggio Papakura as a Rotorua guide, and conveyed to her a message of felicitation from tho women of New Zealand. Miss Johnson expressed pleasure at tho gift, and said: “Give my lovo to the women of New Zealand. I am sorry I am unable to visit them as I intended, but I hope to be able to do so in tho future.” ■ ’ -
