RATES, 1930-1931. gUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the County of Taranaki intend at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at 10 a.m. on MONDAY, July 7, 1930, at the County Chambers, Robe Street, New Plymouth, to make and levy under the authority of Sections 120-121 “Counties Act 1920” Section 51 “Rating Act 1925” and Section 52 “Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act 1926” Rates within each of the Ridings of the County of Taranaki as particularised hereunder: — MANGOREI RIDING—A General Rate of three . and fifteen-sixteenths pence in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of five-eighths pence in the pound. WAITARA RIDING.—A General Rate of two and seven-sixteenths pence in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of five-eighths pence in the pound. OMATA RIDING. —A General Rate of two and three-eighths pence in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of five-eighths pence in the pound. OKATO RIDING.—A General Rate of two and three-sixteenths pence in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of five-eighths pence in the pound.

Such rates to be calculated on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Taranaki, and to be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1930, and ending oil the 31st day of March, 1931, and be payable in one instalment at the Office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe Street, New Plymouth, on the Bth day of July, 1930.
