MEN DENY BURGLARY
DISTURBANCE AT SYDENHAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Juno 11, A sequel to a sensational disturbance in Sydenham on a recent morning was beard in the Magistrate’s Court when two men. were charged with burglary and attempted burglary at the shop of W. E. Munday and Sons. The accused ■were George Cann and William Frederick Farmer. ; Exhibits produced by the police included a plug of gelignite, a fuse and detonators. A shattered portion of a door was also shown. Accused pleaded not guilty and were committed for trial. Police witnesses alleged that Cann had been caught in the street after the neighbours had been aroused by a noise in tho shop.
