Maheno, withdrew from the service for one trip on her arrival back at Wellington, to enable her to undergo her annual overhaul and survey. She leaves Dunedin again on Monday next for Melbourne, via Bluff, taking up her ordinary time-table. COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Hauturu, which arrived at New Plymouth from Onehunga on Sunday morning, was worked on Monday until about noon, when rain prevented the die charge of the last 60 tons of cargo. A number of pedigree cattle were unloaded yesterday, and the vessel left port in the afternoon. (Northern Co.)

The Opihi, which arrived at New Plymouth from southern ports on Saturday to discharge 550 tons, was delayed op Monday by the weather and will not sail for Wellington until this afternoon. The vessel was scheduled to load at Dunedin at the end of the week, whence she sails via usual ports for New Plymouth, being due about a week later. (U.S.S. Co.). The Totara, from southern ports, arrived at New Plymouth at 2.30 p.m. yesterday with 144 tons. She was to proceed last night to Wellington and Lyttelton to reload about Thursday via Wellington and New Plymouth, where she is due on Saturday or Sunday. ( J.S.S. Co.) The Kaimai, from Greymouth, is due at New Plymouth at daylight to-mor-tow with 450 tons of coal and 110 tons of poles. Later she proceeds to Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.). To continue loading for London, Avonmouth, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow, the Federal Line steamer Norfolk is to sail from Auckland for Tokomaru Bay, Napier, Wanganui and Wellington on Thursday. This vessel carries a cargo of dairy produce loaded at New Plymouth. MAHENO RESUMES THIS WEEK. After being laid up for overhaul since May 20 the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno is to leave Port Chalmers for Melbourne, via Bluff, next Saturday. THE HUIA AND MIRO. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Huia is expected to reach Westport from Melbourne at any time. After unloading her cargo of explosives at Westport and. Greymouth the vessel will load timber at Greymouth for Hobart. From Hobart she will proceed to Melbourne to load explosives for Sydney, and from Sydney she will proceed to Grafton to load hardwood for Auckland.

The Nobel auxiliary ketch Miro arrived at New Plymouth on Sunday evening after a prolonged trip from Auckland, and sailed at 4.20 p.m. on Monday. The vessel left Auckland on May 17, but was delayed by bad weather in the north and did not round Cape Maria until June 1. She has explosives to unload at New Plymouth and Greymouth. At Greymouth she will tranship explosives from the Huia. COAL FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. The Kaimai is due at New Plymouth t.r morrow from Greymoath to discharge 450 tons of railway coal and 110 tons of poles. The vessel will sail on Friday for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.)
