TREND OF MODERN PHYSICS
PROFESSOR EINSTEIN’S HOPES. British Wireless. Rugby, June. 7. Professor Albert Einstein lectured at Nottingham University yesterday on the trend of modern physics. He announced that he hoped shortly to complete an even more comprehensive theory in which the laws of geometry and gravitation, as established by his general theory of relativity, would be united with the laws governing electro-mag-netic prenomena, which have not yet been brought into the general scheme. This he hopes to' do by concentrating on the question of direction in space, instead of in size only.
