Italy, with three wins and two losses, enters the fourth round. At Barcelona Maier and Sindreu ('Spain) beat Harada and Abe (Japan), 2—6, 6—4, 6—4, 2—6, 7—5. Spain had previously los't two singles, and there are still two singles matches to play.
