SOUTHERLY CHANGE EXPECTED.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. •'? The weather will be dull and misty, with general rain and many heavy falls, particularly in the central provinces, where there may be some 'flooding. Temperatures will be mild at first but will become colder to-morrow. Winds will freshen, from east to north from Cook Strait southwards; elsewhere there will be moderate to strong north to north-west winds. A change to strong southerlies will set in shortly in the south and extend over the whole Dominion during the next 24 to 36 hours. Seas will be smooth to moderate at first but rough conditions will develop during the next 24 hours. x
