Maheno, withdrew from the service for one trip on her arrival back at Wellington, to enable her to undergo her annual overhaul and survey. She leaves Dunedin again on Monday, June 14, for Melbourne, via Bluff, taking up her ordinary time-table. COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Miro, with explosives from Auckland, arrived at New Plymouth early yesterday and later sailed for Wellington. The Hauturu, which arrived at New Plymouth from Onehunga on Sunday morning, was worked yesterday until about noon, when rain prevented the dis charge of the last 60 tons of cargo. A number of pedigree cattle has yet to be loaded and the vessel will probably not leave for the northern port till noon. (Northern Co.). The Opihi, which arrived at New Plymouth from southern ports on Saturday to discharge 550 tons, was delayed yesterday by the weather and will not sail for Wellington until this afternoon. The vessel was scheduled to load at Dunedin on Thursday or Friday, whence she sails via usual ports for New Plymouth, being due about a week later. (U.S.S. Co.). The Progress arrived from southern ports at New Plymouth late on Friday with 90 tons and was delayed in her discharge owing to the wet weather. She sailed at noon yesterday for Port Waikato, and later leaves for Dunedin, whence she proceeds on June 16 via Timaru and Wellington, for New Plymouth, where she is due on June 21. (Hooker Bros.). The Totara, from southern ports, is due at New Plymouth at noon to-day with 144 tons. Later she proceeds to Wellington and Lyttelton to reload about Thursday via Wellington and New Plymouth, where- she is due on Saturday or Sunday. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kaimai, from Greymouth, is due at New Plymouth at daylight on Thursday with 450 tons of coal and 110 tons of poles. Latei’ she proceeds to Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.).

The John left Wellington last Wednesday for Dunedin, where she was due on Saturday. From Dunedin she sails via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington fo’ 1 New Plymouth, where she Is due with 35 tons on Saturday. Later she proceeds to Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.)

The Himatangi, from Dunedin, loaded at Timaru on Saturday for New Plymouth, via Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui, being due at New Plymouth about Saturday. (Hooker Bros.) The Kaimanawa, with 300 tons of coal, is due at New Plymouth next week L’om Westport via Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.). WEATHER DELAYS SHIPPING. Work on the wharves at New Plymouth was delayed yesterday by the wet weather and in consequence two of the coastal vessels were unable to sail to schedule. ' HORORATA AND MAHANA.

The two overseas vessels, the Mahana and the Hororata, at present in port at New Plymouth, are lifting general cargo and dairy produce. The Mahana is due to .leave on Thursday and the Hororata is expected to depart at tho end of the week. HERTFORD LEAVES COLON. The New Zealand .Shipping Company has received cabled news that the Hertford. cleared the Panama Canal on June ,4. She left Auckland on May 15 for London, Hamburg, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. She carries 17,600 boxes of butter and 3060 crates of cheese loaded at New Plymouth. ANTONIO’S MOVEMENTS. The steamer Antonio left Wanganui for Westport on Saturday to replenish her bunkers before she returns to Nauru Island to load another phosphate cargo. The vessel discharged a cargo of 4000 tons of phosphate at New Plymouth early in May. ■ : , NORFOLK AT AUCKLAND. The Federal Line steamer Norfolk arrived at Auckland.,from. Opua on Satur-. day night to continue loading refrigerated and general cargo for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. From Auckland she will proceed to Tokomaru Bay, Napier, Wanganui and Wellington to complete her cargo. Tho vessel carries a cargo of dairy produce and meat from New Plymouth. PORT HOBART CLEARS HALIFAX. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Hobart, which left Auckland for London, via New York, Boston and Halifax on May 1, is reported to have cleared Halifax last Friday. The vessel has 19,000 freight carcases of meat and 7900 boxes of butter from New Plymouth for London. WESTMORELAND AT COLON.

Reported to have reached Colon on Thursday, tho Federal Line steamer Westmoreland is en route from Glasgow to New Zealand in ballast to load for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. Her loading ports ; are New Plymouth, Opua, Auckland, Gisborne, Napier and Wellington. The vessel is due at New Plymouth on June 28 and' at Auckland on July 7.
