JULIAN CUP COMPETITION CELTIC WINS AT NEW PLYMOUTH CALEDONIAN-STRATFORD DRAW. Senior matches in the Julian Cup Association football competition were played in Taranaki; on Saturday with the following results: — Celtic 2 v. Pirates 0. Caledonians 1 v. Stratford 1. Albiohs won by default from Moturoa. Despite the fact that it was without two of its principle players the Celtic team prevailed over Pirates at Western Park. In the first half the winning side failed to produce its usual form and the. Pirates team used its weight with effect.
