T ( he Italian boxer Primo Camera, 18st lljlb, knocked out Christner, 14st ©Jib, in the fourth round of a scheduled ten? round bout of which the first two were even and the third was given to Christner. Christner troubled the giant considerably by getting > within the Italian’s guard and punching his body while Primo was unable to make his usual long swing. Christner also refused to give way to Camera’s rushes and attempted clinches. Finally, however, after Primo had landed several stiff blows to his head Christner weakened and received a series of sledgehammer rights to the jaw. He dropped to the canvas and rolled on his back seemingly unconscious with blood running from his mouth.
