MONEY AT FIVE PER CENT.
FAVOURABLE LOAN TERMS. Wellington, June 6. A loan of £121,000 has been negotiated for Wellington City in London. The aeting-Mayor states that the money was offered at 5 per cent at par, and the cost of raising it was small. The amount represents the balance of loans authorised in 1927 and 1928 for paving and drainage.
