Mrs. Hill, Maugatoki, gave an enjoyable bridge party on Monday afternoon.
On Monday afternoon Miss Molly Malone gave a bridge party. Those present were Miss Dutchie Uniacke, Miss Mann Porritt, Miss Nora Spence, Miss Andrea Uniacke, Miss Molly Malone, Miss Anita Riera, Miss Grace North, Miss Max Skoglund.
Mrs. A. E. Taylor, Huiroa, has been on-a shor t visit to her sister, Mrs. Leslie Matheson, Hastings. Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Matheson went to AVellington to farewell their brother, Dr. A. F. Mae•kay, who left on Friday for the Malay States.
