MANY ENTRIES AT DANNEVIRKE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dannevirke, June 5. The North Island sheep dog trials championship commenced on Tuesday, and have been favoured with fin© weather so far. The Long Head, in which there were (J 9 entries, was only concluded this morning, resulting: J. McHardy (Mataroa), Jack, 47J, lj W. Thom (Kumeroa), Speed, 47, 2; J. Johnson (Wanstead), Glen, 46, 3; 0. McErlaino (Otago), Ned, 45, 4; J. Anderson (Otago), Toby, 445, 5; Mi Parkinson (Gisborne), Royal, 44, ' There are 79 entries in the Short Head and Yard, and 50 In the Huntaway.
