MAGISTRATE’S COURT
NEW PLYMOUTH CIVIL CLAIMS. Judgment by default in civil cases was given by Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M./ in the New Plymouth Court yesterday. Details are: J. R. Rimiper. v. P. W. Snowden, £6 15s Gd (costs,-' £1 13s 6d); Newton King, Ltd., v. McArthur Bros., Ltd., £6B 14s 6d (£4 14s 6d); Newton King, Ltd., v. C. Johnson, £4 4s 8d ( £1 3s 6d); Newton King, Ltd., v. J. Me--Leary, £2 2s (£1 3s 6d). ~ On the plaint of J. Frizzell, W. Reynolds was ordered to pay all 7a 6d forthwith, in default two days’ imprisonment. L. Tate was ordered to pay E. V. Andrews £l2 17s (costs £1 Is) forthwith, in default ten days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as de* fendant pays £1 per week. S. A. Forrester was ordered to pay Pursers, Ltd., £2 3s, in default tiro days’ imprisonment.
