GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS
AMATEUR MATCHES 36 HOLES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 5. The Golf Council has decided that all the amateur matches at the next New Zealand golf championships, which will be at Palmerston North, will be over 36 • holes. ‘ The dates of the meeting-are October 31 to 'November 8 inclusive. Tho championship foursorries will be played on November 6, so there will be rio free day.
