WARSHIPS’ BILL IN STATES.

■ Washington, May 9. The chairman of the Navy Com* mittee, Senator Britten, introduced a bill into Congress to-day authorising the expenditure of 936,995,000 dollar® for warship construction, which he holds is necessary for the United states to achieve parity, with Britain as provided for under the London Treaty.
