ON RECORD FLIGHT
COPY OF DAILY NEWS CARRIED. A copy of the Taranaki Daily News was carried on the record-breaking flight from New York to Buenos Aires, made recently by Lieutenants AV. AV. White and C. McMullen, of the United States Army Air Corps. The flight was sponsored by the Foreign Advertising and Service Bureau, a largo American agency, and dedicated to the important papers of the world, copies of which were carried in the aeroplane. The flight of 7000 miles was made in 5 days 5 hours, reducing the flying time record by three hours. Last week a page of the Daily News of January 11 last was received, stamped and signed to certify that the copy had been carried on the flight.
