Hill, New Plymouth, won the senior championship, which carries with it a silver cup.. In the high jump she attained 4ft 4in, which is a record for tho college. .

.At the annual meeting this week of St. Mary’s Guild, New Plymouth, Canon Strong presiding, Mrs. Baker was electcd president and Mrs. Martin secretary. The work of the past year was review.cd the vicar congratulating the guild on its success in raising funds for im- : portant works of maintenance.
