FAIR WEATHER FOR WEEK-END

Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be still fine generally, but there will be some showers in Foveaux Strait and parte of Westland. Prospects appear favourable for the week-end, but freshening northerly winds and increasing cloud may be expected by Sunday. An extensive anticyclone still covers the Dominion. Pressure has fallen somewhat over Tasmania. There will be light and variable winds, south-easterly prevailing in the far north and westerlies about Foveaux Strait Seas will be moderate in Foveaux Strait and smooth elseyvhere.
