Lord Harris, who is one of the bestknown figures in. the cricketing world, and who was Governor of Bombay in 1890-95, and A.D.C. to King Edward and King George, is the latest member of the British aristocracy, to endeavour to overcome the taxation burden by transforming himself into a private unlimited company. , : . .
The purpose of the concern, which will be called the Belmont Estate Company, is to acquire a life interest in Lord 1 Harris’ estate in Kent, and other property, and to carry on farming, grazing and market gardening.
