MAGISTRATE’S COURT
HEARING OF CLAIMS TOR DEBT, Judgment by default was given by Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., in the following undefended cases in the New Plymouth Magistrate’s Court yesterday: —R. O’Brien v. C. A. Bell, £4 12s. (costs £1 17s. Cd.); Grey and Grey v. P. D. Willing, £8 13s. lid. (£2 7s. Cd.); Taranaki Trade Association v. E. A. Holly, £1 14s. (10s.); Standish and Anderson v. W. D. Parkes, £3 (£1 ss. Cd.).
Under judgment summons J. Moore was ordered to pay the Taranaki Sign Co., Ltd., £9 4s. Cd.,. (costs 15s. Cd.), in default nine days’ imprisonment; 11. Peters was ordered to■ pay L. O’Neill £9 4s. (costs 15s. fid:), in default nine days’ imprisonment; W; MacLeod was ordered to pay H. R. and Miss L. Bruce £C 3s: Cd. (costs 15s. Cd.), in default six days’ imprisonment.
