PERCENTAGES IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.0 p.m. ' London, May 6. In answer to questions in the House of Commons Mr. J?hilip Snowden said last year’s percentage of indirect taxation was 35.82 per cent, and of direct 64.18 per cent. Under the present Budget the respective figures were 34.07 per cent, and 65.93 per cent.
