The Daily' Herald’s city correspondent suggests the fall in the price of tin to £142 8s 9d is not. unconnected with the release of large secret stocks, necessitating raising possibly £1,500,000 in order to keep about 18,000 tons of metal from lhe market to save the restriction scheme.
