WANGANUI WINTER RACES
ARRANGING FOR FIELD OF 4(1. By Telegraph:—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The .Wanganui' Jockey Club has decided that'in the event of acceptors for the Purua Hack Handicap, at the winter meeting exceeding 23, which is the safety number for the six furlong barrier, the event will ba divided into two races with the totalisator opened twice, the stake money being increased to provide £135 for each race. At present- 46 appear in the event.
