KIRK-WINDEYER CUP GOLF
COUNCIL DISCUSSES RULES. By Telegraph.—Press Association, . Wellington, May 7. The Golf Council discussed the KirkWindcyer Cup rules based on the conference with the captains of the New South- Wales and Victorian teams, but an important clause dealing with New Zealand’s position with regard to tho draw could not be finalised. A subcommittee was appointed to go further into the matter. The report on the courses for this year’s championship is not ready and nothing will he done till it is received. A sum of £s'9 .was voted towards the cost of the trophies' at the ladies’ championships.-
