The scheme proposed is the introduction of cards to which penny stamps may be affixed. When the card, on which twelve stamps may be placed, is full a deposit may be made in the Post Office Saving’s Bank in the usual way. The committee unanimously * decided to approach the Education Board regaring the remodelling of the school, asking, if the work might be proceeded with in the near future to avoid discomfort during the winter months. As repyesentativves of lhe board will be visiting the district this week it is hoped that the committee will be able to place its request, together with suggestions for remodelling, before them.
