ADMINISTRATOR OF SAMOA
WISH FOR RETIREMENT.

Auckland, Last Night.
The Star to-night says it was learned unofficially this afternoon that Colonel S. S. Allen, Administrator of Western Samoa, wishes to retire from the post on account of the continued indisposition of his. wife. Colonel Allen took up the appointment in April, 1928. The anpu’rdment was for no definite term.
