Italy’s leading sporting daily, Gazetta Della Sporto, predicts that Italy will meet either Australia or England m the Davis Cup European final. It quotes Tilden as saying that Italy and France would contest the cup with Australia. The 1928 conquerors, De Morpurgo, De Stefani and Gaslini, are at the top of their form. They have been coached by tho professional Albert Burke.
