UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF

Sydney, April 29. The scheme for the relief of unemployment has been put into operation. Eleven hundred men have started work, and the number will be increased by 3000 during the week. AU the work will be of a developmental character.
The men will receive £2 10s for a week of 44 hourg, with 10s additional if they are married.
