The Australian racehorse Strcphon did a mile and a-quarter spin at Newmarket with Leonidas 11. and Coligny 11. not at top speed. The gallop was a disappointing display, because he appeared to labour in action, so his scratching for the Jubilee Stakes caused little surprise, for Darling cannot have him anything like his best by May 17. The weather is improving and to-day is hot and sunny, so he should progress better. SYDNEY YEARLING SALES. > Sydney, April 26. ; At the yearling sales the New Zealander H.
