PROBLEM OF THE SOUDAN
ANGLO-EGYPTIAN PARLEYS
POSTPONEMENT POSSIBLE
LONG MEETING OF 'WARD
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. ».5 p.m. Cairo ,April 25.
A long meeting of the Cabinet was preceded by an eight-hours sitting of the Wafd executive, ending at 2 in the morning. The discussion concerned the AngloEgyptian negotiations.
It fe understood the feeling is that in view of other advantages gained at London it would be bad tactics to allow the conference to break down over the claim for a share in the administration of the Soudan.
The Prime Minister, Nahas Pacha, will probably urge the postponement of the Soudan problem on a basis of status quo, with a face-saving concession of the right of Egyptians to migrate freely to the Soudan. ,•
An .emissary'carrying the Wafd proposals has left by air for London.
