AUCKLAND MATCHES BEGIN.
Auckland, Last Night.
The Association Football competitions opened on Saturday. Results are:— Y.M.C.A. 3 beat Celtic 2, Tramways 6 beat Manurewa 2, Corinthians 2 beat Onehunga 0, Ponsonby 4 beat Thistle 1.
